Information we collect

We collect your name, email, phone number, appointment type, date and start time, optional brief notes, booking reference, consent record and booking-link source. Existing bookings may include hair history and optional photos submitted under the earlier form. The current form does not request new photo uploads or medical information. Do not enter payment-card details in notes or emails.

Purpose and payment processing

We use your information to arrange and manage your appointment, communicate changes and handle your deposit. Booking is not marketing consent or permission to publish photos. Stripe processes card payments on its hosted checkout. Our website retains payment references, deposit and refund totals and payment status; it does not collect full card numbers or card security codes. Stripe applies its own privacy practices to payment processing.

Storage and access

Booking information is stored on our hosting account with Hostinger, outside the public website directory, and accessed through authenticated accounts. Email notifications use our configured email provider (Titan). Account owners have technical access; scheduling staff have access needed to manage appointments. We use session cookies and temporary hashed identifiers for security and abuse prevention, and record administrative actions without full client details. Providers may process information outside Canada; applicable foreign laws may permit access by authorities.

Retention and your choices

Closed booking contact details, notes and stored photos are removed after the configured retention period (normally 365 days), when no unresolved cancellation refund requires follow-up. Payment references and audit records are kept separately for business, security and legal purposes. Email copies, payment-provider records and backups have separate retention and may remain until removed or expired. You may request access, correction or deletion by contacting Sunni Beauty; information required for legal or legitimate business purposes may need to be retained. You may also contact us directly instead of using the online form.

Notifications and external links

We send appointment confirmations, changes and, when enabled, reminders by email. This booking system does not send WhatsApp or SMS messages or Instagram direct messages. Links to Instagram and Google have their own privacy practices. No advertising tracker is added by this booking system. To raise a privacy concern, contact info@sunnibeauty.com.
